Course Description: Quantitative and statistical approaches to questions asked by evolutionary anthropologists and the quantitative methods employed to answer these questions. Topics include what is a scientific question, how to read the primary literature, scientific methodology, hypothesis testing, ethical research design and presentation, descriptive statistics and basic inferential statistics. Prerequisite: 01:070:102 or 01:070:105; 01:640:025 or placement or permission of instructor.
