Course Description: Introduction to economic anthropology. Cultural notions of wealth in the United States, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Anthropological perspectives on economic inequality, individualism, rationality, moral economy, exchange, consumption, production, and globalization.  Prerequisite: 01:070:101 or permission of instructor.
